"Get an ipod or a Zune." 2009-11-02

I havent used this mp3 player in over a year. It wouldn't play and erased almost all of my songs I downloaded from Rhapsody saying that the songs were not licensed.I gave up trying to use this thing. I guess you get what you paid for. I guess its worth it to spend $200 to $300 on a mp3 player than $100.

 "Defective Product" 2009-10-16
By EnEm (NJ United States)
I bought this a year ago based on reviews I read, but was very disappointed.

Initially started with issues with the power switch (the slider). It would not turn on. The second issue was I could not transfer files to the player. The software would not recognize the portable device.

I had to send it back to Samsung, they fixed the issues, but every now and then, even when fully charged, the unit does not power on.

Sound is great and looks are great, but has firmware and hardware issues. I will think twice before buying another of these.

 "great buy." 2009-08-13

I have been using this player 5 to 6 days a week at the gym for the last 2 years and it is still going strong. I added a set of sennhieser cx 300 ear buds that I picked up cheap and the sound is amazing. If all you want is a great music player and that's it this is a great deal.

"Great but there is one thing wrong." 2009-06-25
By M. King
When i got this i was so happy and excited. It was great and had many features on it like, photos, voice recorder,F.M. radio, and mp3 player. I got it in 2007 when it first came out and had it for a half of a year when something went wrong. I loved it more than any mp3/ipod that i ever had, becides it did not have any games but that was not a have to have. After i charged it more and more the charge did not last as long and a half a year later the charge did not last but three days. Even when i did not listen to it and it was turned off the charge went down. So after a while i charged it one night for the next day and the next day i turned it on and it was out of charge. So it was not even worth using. So later after i stored it away i bought an ipod and it has almost been a year since i had it and it has not stoped working or gotten stolen or anything. It is awsome. After a year i tried it again and it still runs out of charge when i dont listen to it. So do not buy this unless u buy it from the samsung store.

"Had to send it back after 1 day" 2009-02-15
By Lisa Mitchell (Carmichael, CA United States)
My daughter (9 yearsl old) saved her Christmas money for this very big disappointment. We bought it, and expected that it would work as easily as my T10, however, after hours on the phone to Rhapsody, then to Samsung, we determined that the device did not operate properly. It would create errors and never allow for proper downloading of songs. We will send it back to get our money back and warn anyone who expects ease and enjoyment from this model.

"Great product for the price!" 2009-09-15
By A. Califano
Bought it for my son. He loves it! Arrived very quickly! Very pleased!

 "happy with purchase" 2009-09-13
By Pat
Our public library requires windows operated MP3 Player. So there was only a few different choices. I have been extremely happy with my purchase for the purpose I bought it for. I put a book on it. The "keys" are flat and covered with the case, so there is no concern of getting gummed up keys. It is easy to bump a key and have it do something not wanted. So once I start listening to the book, I lock the keys, so I don't bump them. I'm happy with my purchase.

"Samsung delivers a well designed player!" 2009-07-25
By M. Gundersen
I won't repeat everything I already stated on epinions at the link below. I picked up the K3 two years ago and have never regretted it! It's sleek, well designed and fun to use. The only con is if you have fat fingers you may find it hard to use as the display is quite sensitive. If your a man with large fingers (or women, but most women should probably be ok) I just recommend you test it out at your local electronics store. This is an awesome piece of technology.

"Great Player that Works Awesomely,!" 2007-07-28
By A. Boykin (Baton Rouge, LA)
This is an awesome player. I started with the YP-JAB model that has the slide out speaker, which I still have and am in love with. I decided I wanted the slimmer version for when I am exercising. The previous was a bit to bulky for me during this time but otherwise a non-issue.

The controls are a bit sensitive but adjusting the amount of pressure when using them will definitely do the trick. You don't have to press these controls just a little tap will do.

I have Microsoft XP and use Media Player 10 to sync my music edit my audio files and whatever else I need to do (don't really care too much for the Samsung Media Studio that is included in the software). Every thing works perfectly and performs as it should.

Creating playlists is a bit tricky and it took me longer than I wanted to figure out but once I had it, I was able to add my playlist as easily as I add everything else.

The only con as far as I am concerned is the lack of accessories for this device. I wanted to buy an arm band or a case for it and the few I found were very unattractive and all were black. I happen to love my red player so it would have been nice to buy a decent looking case that doesn't take away from the appearance of it. ~~~~~~~ All said, I definitely recommend this product and if you take the time to actually learn to use its features - I am pretty sure that you will love it as I do!

 "Great cover..." 2009-12-28
By N. RALLO (Wickenburg, AZ)
This cover fits like a glove and is very easy to put on and remove. The strap is a little cheesy and I doubt will ever get used, but otherwise an excellent product.

"Wish I'd had it sooner" 2008-10-09
By Donna J. Roberts (Dale City Virginia)
The cover is great I just wish I found it sooner. It saves the MP3 from sratches. The price isn't bad either.

"Great Player and Good For Books-On-Tape" 2008-08-24
By Daniel F. Gathright (Sulphur, LA)
I bought this player specifically for books-on-tape and my library digital downloads, which are very specific on the wma content. After reviewing other users suggestions, I also bought the skin. I was lucky since the player didn't include an armband and the skin did. I also bought the external charger, since I didn't want the player hanging onto my USB outlet all the time. It's easy to use and the lock is handy since I work and play while wearing it.

 "Good Case Overall" 2008-07-10
By Joshua Thompson (Tempe, AZ)
The silicone case for the YP-K3 is pretty nice. Just days prior to receiving it, I had dropped the MP3 player during a run. Go figure, it landed face down and slid for a few feet. I was pretty miffed at that, so when the case came (and it came quickly), I was pleased. It enables adequate screen view and button access (though a slightly firmer press is required, obviously). My only 'issues' with the case are the fitment. The headphone jack and USB cable port are slightly obstructed with the case on. Since it is silicone, it is easily slid out of the way for the necessary moment of access. The same can be said for the power switch control. Overall, I am please with the case as well as the accompanying arm-band.

"Great case cover for the Samsung slim" 2008-05-20
By M. Gutierrez (San Bernardino, CA)
It came ahead of time and easy to slip on. Great protection, but the only thing is that you will need a screen protector to cover the screen. Case does not come with a plastic to cover the screen.
